	Matthew Crouthamel, MD Mathew Crouthamel Dr. Matthew Crouthamel is Puget Sound Surgical Center’s general surgeon, specializing in minimally invasive surgery. After studying biochemistry, theology, and philosophy at Pacific Lutheran University, he completed medical school and his surgical residency at University of Washington School of Medicine (UW Medicine). While at UW Medicine, he excelled in general and laparoscopic surgery, and received invaluable experience in trauma and critical care at Harborview Medical Center. A native of Puget Sound, Dr. Crouthamel is active in the community with Habitat for Humanity. In his leisure time, Dr. Crouthamel enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children.
